Katarzyna Wojnicka

PhD, sociologist, researcher. Currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for European Research and in the Department of Sociology and Work Science at the University of Gothenburg. She studied sociology and gender studies at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.  Her PhD thesis was dedicated to men's social movements in Poland. Her current scientific interests concentrate mostly on critical studies on men and masculinities, the sociology of social movements and the intersections between domestic violence and masculinities issues. She is author or co-author of over 30 scientific publications from the gender studies area and author of the scientific blog Dr. K & the men.
