Anna Zachorowska-Mazurkiewicz

An assistant professor in the Institute of Economics and Management, Faculty of Management and Social Communication at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. She holds a Ph.D. in economics. Her research interests focus on institutional and feminist economics. She has written about economic situation of women in the EU and transition economies, especially Poland, social and economic inequalities, as well as gender in economic thought. She is a founding member of GEM-Europe, and a member of Feminist Think Tank, GEM-IWG, IAFFE, AFEE and EAEPE. In 2005 she was a fellow in Program on Knowledge Networking and Capacity Building on Gender, Macroeconomics and International Economics, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, US. In 2010 she was a Marie Curie fellow in School of Social Justice at University College Dublin.
